Getting to Woking Library of Things

Introduction

Welcome to Woking Library of Things – where borrowing is better than buying, and sharing makes our community stronger.

Ready to pick up your first item(s)? Here’s your guide to getting here, no matter how you prefer to travel. Check the Woking Library MyTurn page for opening hours. Note that items can only be borrowed and returned during the hours published on this page.

Cycling

Cycling instead of driving can significantly reduce your impact on the environment. Opting for a bike over a car helps you both enjoy and preserve our local biodiversity and it also keeps our air cleaner. We have convenient bike parking right outside the library.

Public Transport

Public transport offers a hassle-free way to reach us without dealing with parking.

White Bus, Falcon, and Stagecoach all run services to Woking Town Centre. For details of Woking Buses and Maps of routes check this webpage.

Woking Train Station is less than 10 minutes walk from the library.

Driving to Woking Library

Disabled Parking: There is one disabled parking space outside the front of the library (CHECK THIS)

Consider ridesharing: Woking has some of the most polluted roads in the country. Ridesharing with friends or family can help reduce traffic and pollution because it means fewer cars on the road.

If you’re picking up items that require a car, the closest car parks are Victoria Place Red Car Park, Victoria Place Yellow Car Park and Brewery Road Car Park.

Join Us Today!

No matter how you choose to travel, we’re excited to see you at the Woking Library of Things.

See you soon, and Happy Borrowing!
